This February, we will dedicate our attention to the call of mission upon our church family. Jesus Christ makes clear that we share in His mission as His witnesses…

“As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” John 20:21

Some people have a unique call to GO to the ends of the earth, but all of us have the call to GO on mission in our unique spheres of influence. Go! is our theme for the month.

Over the month, we will explore the story of Jonah, a reluctant missionary, in our Sunday worship services. We will also showcase a different aspect of our efforts to share Christ as a church and as individuals. This includes our community impact, church planting and global reach. We want to pray for those missionaries entrusted to our care and support them in their work here and around the world.

We continue to obey Jesus’ command to pray in Luke 10:2,

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers.”

We invite you to participate in our 10 Days of Prayer initiative, savour the food and worship of Christ at our International Celebration and walk in support of the vulnerable at the Coldest Night of the Year event. In addition, many ministries will have a special mission focus in their events. May God use this month to stir our hearts for the mission of His church and His glory.
