Due to the pandemic we have suspended all of the Joy Fellowship gatherings until further notice.
However, because we care about our seniors and are concerned about their isolation from each other and the rest of the church family we have brought on the staff team John Rush, Chaplain to Seniors as a volunteer who is contacting all of our Seniors regularly. If you would like to be contacted by John please send him an email.
About Joy Fellowship
After the pandemic is behind us our Joy Fellowship events will be hosted on the third Thursday of the month which will bring together mature adults for a time of fellowship, devotion and learning.
Each month's event (September - June) combines singing, a brief Bible devotional and a featured speaker. The topics are interesting, the fellowship is always inviting and the morning ends with a delicious hot lunch! In December we plan a Christmas banquet with entertainment. We finish the season with a barbeque in June. Tickets are sold for approximately four weeks prior to these special events. For regular monthly events, there is a small cost to cover the meal of $10.00 per person.
After the pandemic is behind us our Knit Wits will be meeting again on the second Thursday of the month (September - June) at 1:30PM a group of knitters and crocheters gather at Grandview to create warm items for members of our community. For more information please contact the Grandview Office.
