Love KW
We want to bless our city as followers of Jesus. Join the movement this February as we seek to love our city in a couple of practical ways. You can jump in on one or do both!
Grandview Food Drive
We invite our church family to give generously to support
The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. The pandemic has significantly affected so many vulnerable families and demand has increased substantially. We will accept donations of all non-perishable items but here is a list of the most needed items:
-
Individually Packaged Snacks: these are an excellent choice for kids lunches, take-away meals, and a way for Community Outreach workers to connect with those who are precariously housed or experiencing homelessness.
-
Dry Beans: a healthy, versatile source of protein. Many cultures use dry beans as a staple when preparing healthy meals for their families.
-
Juice Boxes: distributed at community meal and hamper programs and are an excellent option for kids lunches, and take-away meals.
-
Canned Fruit: a healthy, nutritious and a diverse option that can be included in school lunches, take-away meals and at community meal programs.
-
Rice: as we continue to see the diversity of Waterloo Region evolve, many families view rice as a staple to accompany their dinner every night. It can be used in a variety of dishes

The Coldest Night of the Year
The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Team up, walk, and fundraise!
Join the Grandview Team, "The Fast and the Flurries" and walk in support of Ray of Hope, our justice and compassion partner.
All money raised goes to support meal nights and supports for unhoused and vulnerable individuals in the area.
There will be snacks and warm drinks all along the walk.
