Christmas Giving 2025
GLOBAL PROJECT
Impact Colombia
$20,000
Partnering with Fellowship Aid and International Relief (FAIR) and Fellowship International, funds raised will support the Momentum Campaign in Medellín, Colombia. This FAIR campaign supports church planting and compassionate outreach through the local church, many of which are working in some of the poorest neighbourhoods of the city.
These funds will assist holistic ministries that provide things like:
-
food and other essential resources to families in need
-
counselling and women’s ministry for abused women
-
opportunities for children and youth to learn skills and increase confidence through sports ministries and community drop-in programs
-
a safe place for girls rescued from life on the streets
GLOBAL PROJECT
Training Pastors in Uganda
$20,000
In partnership with LeadersFormation, funds raised will support a training cohort of rural pastors based throughout eastern Uganda. Most of these pastors do not receive a salary and work in other occupations to support their families. There is no opportunity for these pastors to receive theological education.
This training cohort began in 2023, and costs in Uganda have risen substantially. With four Canadian churches plus Grandview, we are looking to sustain the training and finish well in 2028. We believe that this investment in pastors will multiply the indigenous church planting movement in Uganda and equip pastors for future generations.
LOCAL PROJECT
HGBC Building Project
$40,000
In support of our church plant, Heritage Grace Baptist Church, funds raised will go toward air conditioning at the new building. The reality of the recently purchased building is that the sanctuary becomes extremely hot during the summer and likely would require the church to relocate its worship service to a lower part of the building during hot periods, disrupting both adult and children’s ministries. We are seeking to raise this amount to avoid such disruptions and allow the ministry to flourish year-round.
Funds received will be distributed in the following order: Training Pastors in Uganda, Impact Colombia, HGBC Building Project. Funds received over $80,000 will go to support Impact Colombia.
